Gardening Conditions of service

Sunny Daze Home & Garden provides gardening, lawn maintenance, and general outdoor maintenance services. All services are delivered based on information supplied by the client and conditions present at the time of service.

2. Quotes & Bookings

All quotes are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.
A booking is confirmed once accepted by the client, verbally or in writing. Acceptance of a booking constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

3. Access to Property

Clients must ensure safe, clear, and unrestricted access to the property at the scheduled service time.
If access is unavailable, the service may be cancelled and charged in accordance with the cancellation policy.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a booked service.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged 100% of the scheduled service cost.

Cancellations made without notice, no-shows, or where access is not available at the scheduled time will be charged 100% of the service fee.

Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in refusal of future bookings.

5. Weather Conditions

Gardening services are weather-dependent.
Sunny Daze Home & Garden reserves the right to cancel, delay, or reschedule services without notice due to weather conditions or other factors outside our control, including but not limited to:

Rain, storms, high winds, or extreme heat

Wet ground that may cause property damage

Unsafe working conditions or equipment risk

Weather-related cancellations by Sunny Daze Home & Garden will not incur a charge and will be rescheduled where possible.

6. Pets & Animal Waste

For health and safety reasons:

All dog waste must be removed from work areas prior to our arrival.

If dog waste is present, a cleaning fee of $50 may be applied, or the service may be refused and charged as a late cancellation.

Pets must be secured away from work areas during service.

7. Site Safety & Hazards

Clients must disclose known hazards prior to service, including:

Uneven ground or unstable surfaces

Irrigation systems, underground services, cables, or hidden obstacles

Aggressive or unsecured animals

Sunny Daze Home & Garden is not responsible for damage or delays caused by undisclosed hazards.

8. Green Waste Removal

Green waste removal is included only if specifically agreed at the time of booking.
Additional green waste removal may incur extra charges.

9. Damage & Breakage

All reasonable care is taken while performing services. However, Sunny Daze Home & Garden is not responsible for:

Pre-existing damage

Hidden or underground items

Normal wear and tear to lawns, plants, irrigation, or garden features

10. Payment Terms

Payment is due on completion of service unless otherwise agreed.

Late payments may incur additional fees.

Ongoing or future services may be suspended if accounts are overdue.

11. Right to Refuse or Discontinue Service

Sunny Daze Home & Garden reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services where:

Conditions are unsafe

Abusive or aggressive behaviour is encountered

Repeated non-payment or cancellations occur

12. Photographs

We may take before-and-after photographs for record-keeping or marketing purposes. Identifiable personal details will not be shared without consent.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sunny Daze Home & Garden is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the provision of gardening services.

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia.
